At Céline Martine we name our creations after women that influenced us to the core, women who’s names might not be noted in history books, but who walked before us, along side us, and will continue to stride long after we leave Mother Earth. Celine and Martine are the names of our founder’s grandmothers who instilled the love of fabrics and sewing to Marion.

Kiki de Montparnasse was a French cabaret performer, painter, and artists’ muse in the bohemian circles of the Montparnasse neighbourhood in Paris during the Roaring Twenties (what we call the crazy years  "les années folles").  She flourished in, and helped define, the liberated culture of Paris in the 1920s.
